Federal Land is expanding to the development of master-planned multi-use communities with an initial 10 projects, including the redevelopment of three existing properties.
Grand Central Park (GCP) in Bonifacio Global City, Met Park in Pasay, and an emerging community in Marikina are now part of Federal Land Communities (FLC).
First to launch this year among the pipeline FLC projects is Riverpark in Cavite, a 600-hectare township dubbed as the Next-Gen City in the South.
Thomas Mirasol, Federal Land president and chief operating officer said, FLC is a natural progression for the company which envisions these developments as dynamic growth environments that provide wellness amenities, retail and dining options, and outdoor recreations to our customers.
FLC properties are planned to be multi-functional that go beyond the mixed-use concept that employ only zoning to assign specific functions to areas such as residential, commercial, or industrial.
The company said FLC adopts a more thoughtful approach to the use of open space, as different areas in development can be deliberately designed to support multiple uses.
