(SPOT.ph) Since its soft-opening last November, hoards of people have been attracted to the newest mall in the BGC area—Mitsukoshi Mall. Yes, the Japanese mall has caused quite a ruckus in the Metro’s lifestyle scene with its promise of a taste of Japan right in Manila. Aside from shopping for cool Japanese finds at this spot, many people are also interested in the food scene the newcomer has to offer. We mean, come on, what’s a day out without some grub? And while there are already establishments open at Mitsukoshi, there is still a lot coming up in the next few months. So to help set your expectations when you visit this BGC haunt, we’ve compiled a list of restaurants open and coming soon to the Mitsukoshi Mall.

Bad Bird
Location: Basement 1
What it’s known for: Bad Bird is known for their umami-rich fried chicken and their wide array of complementing sides.

Ben’s Cookies
Location: Basement 1
What it’s known for: Chewy chocolate cookies made with chocolate chunks, not chips.

Bread Talk
Location: Basement 1
What it’s known for: A wide variety of bread, both sweet and savory. It’s most famous for its introduction of bread with Floss to the market. Check out their Mitsukoshi Mall store for branch-exclusive Japanese bread.

Cafe Dolci
Location: Basement 1/Mitsukoshi Fresh
What it’s known for: Cafe Dolci serves a wide array of pastries, from danishes and macarons to chocolate bonbons. They also serve artisanal gelato with vegan-friendly flavors too.

CoCo Ichibanya
Location: Basement 1
What it’s known for: CoCo Ichibanya is famous for its Japanese-style curry rice meals. Among their best-sellers are the classic Pork Cutlet Omelette Curry and the Fried Chicken Omelette Curry.

Fruit Club
Location: Basement 1
What it’s known for: Fresh fruit juices and beverages.

Gong Cha
Location: Basement 1
What it’s known for: Gong Cha is known for its various milk tea and fruit tea offerings. Gong Cha also has Milk Foam, a creamy, sweet, and savory flavor balance, and whipped texture that is the perfect companion to their brewed teas.

Happy Lemon

What it’s known for: Happy Lemon serves a wide selection of milk tea, citrus fruit teas, and other drinks. They also have the signature Salted Cheese foam add-on that adds a balance of salty flavors to their sweet milk teas.

What it’s known for: Key Coffee is one of Japan’s oldest coffee roasters. They are known for their traditional Japanese coffee blends served in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

What it’s known for: Manila Inasal was formerly solely operating on a cloud kitchen basis. Their first brick-and-mortar stall in Mitsukoshi serves up their take on the famous grilled chicken dish from Negros. They also serve grilled pork belly, tuna, kansi, and other Negrense favorites.

Med Modern Mediterranean

What it’s known for: Fresh Mediterranean Eats such as pita wraps, salads, kebabs, falafels, and many other quick bites.

Mendokoro Ramenba
Location: Ground Floor
What it’s known for: Creamy, savory, umami-rich bowls of ramen with tender and succulent grilled pork pieces. Their best-sellers include the Shoyo Ramen, Shio Ramen, and Tantanmen.

Mitsuyado Sei-men
