(SPOT.ph) We’ve all got favorites for sweets of all sorts, and when it comes to great takes on old-fashioned American desserts, M Bakery’s got your back. Known for their cakes, cupcakes, banana pudding, and other bakes that channel nostalgic Americana, the bakeshop’s gained a fair following since opening their first Philippine outpost at One Bonifacio High Street in 2018. Since then two other branches have followed (one at Rockwell, another at SM Megamall), and another will soon be joining the list. Yep, they’re set to open at MITSUKOSHI BGC—with exclusive desserts to boot!

Here’s where you’ll find + what to try at the newest branch of M Bakery:

Set to open on March 15, the newest M Bakery branch will be located at MITSUKOSHI’s basement food hall and you can drop by from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Best part? Apart from their bestselling treats—which include the likes of their signature Banana Pudding—they’ll also be selling Japanese-inspired desserts available only at this branch!

There’s the Cherry Blossom Cupcakes (P165), for one—pretty pink small cakes with your choice of vanilla or chocolate flavors for the cupcake base, and vanilla buttercream frosting tinted pale pink and decorated so as to resemble their namesake. Fans of green tea won’t want to miss the Matcha Cupcakes (P165), which pair an earthy matcha-imbued cake base with a velvety matcha meringue buttercream.

And while tres leches cake is always a treat, M Bakery MITSUKOSHI BGC brings in a popular Korean and Japanese supermarket find to the mix: banana milk. Yup, you’ll want to try the Banana Milk Tres Leches (P295), which features the fruit three ways as it’s got banana sponge cake soaked in banana milk and a topping of whipped cream and banana chips.

M Bakery’s MITSUKOSHI BGC branch will be at the Basement Food Hall, MITSUKOSHI BGC, 8th Avenue corner 36th Street, Bonifacio Global City. For more information, check out M Bakery PH’s Facebook page.
